PREPARE2 Trial: No benefit of 500 ml fluid bolus prior to intubation in preventing cardiovascular collapse. Of course patients with hypovolemia were excluded, those patients would need the volume bolus. Next trial should probably test use of vasopressors prior to intubatio.

the intubation drugs effect is vasodilatation, so as expected vasopressors would make sense
